cuncumén

time to play catch-up on all the things i couldn't blog about due to a lack of internet access.

the first weekend in Chile the whole EAP group went on a retreat an hour and a half outside of Santiago to Cuncumén. this campo was rural, rustic, and absolutely beautiful.
took this picture from the bus

my room for the weekend:

my roomies, Keelin and Andrea, locked INSIDE the room.
yes, this actually happened.

while this orientation weekend filled us in on copious amounts information about Chile (the universities, politics, internships, choosing classes, safety, group excursions, and much more), we mostly just wanted to party (carretear)
friday night was Jackson's 21st birthday.
obviously i had to get some climbing in

drinking piscola
supastarrr

during the day i had plenty of time to get my tan on

Keelin, Andrea, y Yo
and eat 3 courses of chilean food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

"palta reina" - avocado, tuna, topped with an olive on a bed of lettuce
"pevre" - delicious salsa. the only semi-spicy thing you'll find in Chile
hella meat

this weekend was the perfect way for everyone to get to know each other. i'm stoked to be surrounded by so many awesome people
the whole EAP Santiago 2012 group =D
